Veritas Prep Practice Test - question about real value of x

What real value(s) of x satisfy this equation:
(8x) = x^2

A. 0,2
B. 0,-2
C. 1,2
D. 1,-2
E. -1,2

The ans is (A) but I have no clue how - the equation doesn't make sense to me. I would imagine x = 0 or 8.
