I am looking for admission consultants in the Washington DC area. Does anyone know of any firms, consultants in that area? I prefer one on one meetings.

Divide & Conquer
Tom, working alone, can paint a room in 6 hours. Peter and John, working independently, can paint the same room in 3 hours and 2 hours, respectively. Tom starts painting the room and works on his own for one hour. He is then joined by Peter and they work together for an hour. Finally, John joins the...

D is correct because it removes an alternate cause (which could have the same result as the one described in the conclusion). If percentage of defendants who actually committed the crime in greater in the case of public defendants, then it may explain why that group has a greater conviction rate.

IMO it's C. The argument states the little increase in the number of Verlanders receiving the special programs is probably due to the same number of RDS equipped radios in 1994 and 1996. Negating C provides alternate reason why the number of Verlanders receiving the special programs could not increa...

Rise of the Phoenix
Rahul, The challenge is not how you can beat the GMAT, but how you can beat yourself. GMAT is a target and every one sets up his own bar. Pick yourself up from your own ashes and rise like a phoenix. You will be amazed at what your will power and never say die attitude can do for you. Wish you the v...

I am appearing for my 3rd attempt at GMAT in late February to achieve my goal (750). However, after reading the posts here and oth...

Beaten by GMAT 650(Q48,V31)
I gave my GMAT last week and scored a 650. I feel so dejected considering that I had scored 700+ in my last 4 MGMAT Prep and 740 in my second GMATPrep test. I am not sure what went wrong during the exam. I finished the Quant section 5 minutes early, and although verbal not exactly a piece of cake, I...

GMAT Prep
Hi Stacy,
I am planning to give my GMAT by end of October and I have roughly 2 months for this. Is 2-3 hrs a day, good enough to get a 700+ score?
Thank you and have a great day.
