http://s2.postimage.org/Fmr39.jpg Please suggest how to work with a, b & c options. Use of word 'than' needs parallel construction before and after the word. So, if a clause is before the word 'than' , clause will be after the word. I am not sure above its preference over the tense parallelism ...

I solved it this way : 90 % of 80 = 72 , so Angela is at 8 position. so student before her in class 1 are 7 and in class 2 are 19. so, in both the classes 26. 160-26 = 134 X = (134/160)*100 = 83.7 near to 85. Method does not seems to be correct as the answers are exact values. Experts please suggest.

By solving 1 Tom timing is 6 and that of Jack is 12. however, not able to solve with second and getting calculation error
1/T + 1/J = 1/4 (1)
1/2T + 1/J = 1/3 (2)
Solving 1 & 2
1/T - 1/2T = 1/4 -1/3 = -ive (not possible ) . Please suggest.
