B imo...A is too extreme...since the paragraph says Johnson's text is "more faithful", I assume it is less distorted..later in the paragraph it states that the dash that Johnson printed IMPLIES something that Dickinson never meant..in other words, to mislead.

IMO A...it does not say anything about bias and we are looking for the criticism which will the weakest or least vunerable toward the comm's argument...B is a choice i was iffy on, but his argument talks about not studying the report in detail...

IMO A....using statement 2, x can be < -5 or > 5..insuf statement 1...both parts of the eq have to be either positive or negative.. if x is a negative fraction, you will come out with a negative number for |x-1| and a positive number for x+1...so |x| has to be >1 for equation number 1 to work...

I overlooked the statement where it says the tip is twice the TENS digit.
