Hello,

Do not forget that you are Adding them and not Multiplying,

The rule is a^x + a^x = 2 a^x

Therefore you have:

2 * (2^5) and 3 * (3^5)

Therefore:

2^6 + 3^6

Hope it helps,

JB

I think the most academic and simple way (without shortcuts of any sorts) is W/Y = 1/1 & (W+30)/Y=6/5 Simplification of first ratio gives: W = Y Simplification of 2nd: 5(W+30) = 6Y therefore 5W + 150 = 6Y Finally, as Y=X we have 5W + 150 = 6W W= 150 therefore Y = 150 therefore total of W + Y = 3...

Is Kaplan 800 really a good benchmark?

Hello,

I was wondering about the overall level of the Kaplan 800 especially in the SC questions that I seem to handle pretty well?

Is it really what "tough" questions look like in the test?

Thank you,

JB
