Experts please correct me where I'm wrong,

From statement 1:P(W&E)=0 we get P(W).P(E)=0
When we use this information combined with statement 2 we can conclude P(E)=0
There for P(W)=0.2

Therefore answer should be P(W)+P(E)-P(W&E)=0.2+0+0 and henceforth C.

Brent,

You said Litter mates are born in same batch.Then how come out of 6 dogs you are making 3 pairs when the question tells out of 6 exactly 1 littermate. Same way out of 3 only 2 littermate. Please clarify.

Q.Set A has 2 +ve integers with median of 5.Set B has 3 +ve int with mean of 3.

Is it True that mean of combined set is less than 4.
