105 = 3*5*7 Statement 1) x is a multiple of 9. But we know that x is a multiple of 6 and y a multiple of 14. So, xy has got 2,3^2,7 for sure but may or may have 5. if x = 90, then xy is a multiple of 105, but if x = 54, then xy is not a multiple of 105. Not Sufficient!!! Statement 2) y is a multiple...

Statement 1) (x+1)(|x|-1) > 0 We have two cases when 1)x > 0 , |x| = x (x+1)(|x|-1)>0 becomes (x+1)(x-1)>0 x^2 -1 > 0 i.e. x > 1 or x < -1 but we have assumed x > 0 so x > 1. 2) x < 0 , |x| = -x (x+1)(|x|-1)>0 becomes (x+1)(-x-1)>0 -(x + 1 )^2 > 0 i.e. (x + 1 )^2 < 0 but square of any number can nev...

As all options have north as the keyword, so use North as the dividing line, so if now the airplane is on east of north, then originally it must have been west of north.
Rule out options B and D, now west of north is (25° - 5°) = 20°.
Answer C.

You can use some numbers. 1)If A's income is r% more than B's ,then B's income is less than that of A by how much % ? Take A = 150, and r = 50% more than B = 100. Then B's income is less than that of A by (150 - 100)/150 = 33.33% 2)If P is current population of a town ,what would be it's population ...

Options:- a) (100xy - z)/(x+y) -- Not Possible as numerator is (hour^2 - hour), which is against the law of...

There is no need to do that because even after multiplication and then factorization as suggested by you the greatest prime factor will be 11 only. So, I don't see a point. E.g. Greatest prime factor of 1*2*3 is 3 or Greatest prime factor of 6 (which has 1,2,3,6 as factors) is also 3. Hope this make...
