I agree with garfield's answer
Avg of half means that there's an equal number of 180 and 215 pounders.
180 + 215 = 395... how many times does 395 go into 2000 evenly? 5... 5*2 = 10

You would think....
My first answer was D also, but since it's wrong, we must be assuming that point O lies at (0,0), which it obviously does not. Find the radius OP using pyth and you get 2. Thus, radius OQ also equals 2. Using pyth to find PQ you get 2root2. Subtracting root3 from 2root2 gives you something very clos...

Viper, you gotta cube both sides (it's testing the multiplication of exponents), after cubing both sides you get x-b=c^18, then add b to both sides.

didn't take too long the way I did it, hurrried and multiplied everything out from 3^2 to 3^5..... 3^5 gives us 243, while 3^4 gives us 81, subtract the two and you get 162...... but we're concerened with the x's, so.... 5(5-1)=20

Don't be so arrogant
I am not sure why you chose A. as A is clearly insufficient... 2x<3y does not tell anything about relative values of x and y He/she chose A because he/she thought it was correct. (1) if x is 2 then y could be 3, if x is -2 y could be -1. In both cases you could pick a. However, if x and y equal 1 t...
