It should be "B" because on the fourth day the due would 70 cents. On the fifth day the due would be 1.00.

My approach.. Let's find the distance travelled by Adam. Travel time is 30 minutes @ a speed of 40, so d=ts i.e d=30/60 * 40 = 20. Beth has travelled 5 miles longer so Beth's distance is Adam's Distance + 5 => 20 + 5 ==>25 Beth's speed is s=d/t ==> 25 /50/60 ==> 25 * 60 /50 ==> 30 MPH. Answer is B, ...

"Like" is used only to compare nouns. "As" is used to compare clauses. So "C" and "B" is wrong. "A" - "are able to be programmed" sounds wrong to me. I can't explain the reasoning behind it. "E" being is almost always wrong in GMA...
