I didn't do it as well but I can't practice with the same content; hence, looking for new stuff. Does anybody has some co...

Does the RC screen resembles MGMAT or GMATTest Prep?

I find it difficult to scroll up and down a RC passage. The MGMAT CAT screen is too small in comparison with the GMATTest Prep screen. How does the actual screen looks like? How much do you need to scroll? Of what length are a short length passage and a long passage? The scrolling of the paragraph a...

How do you keep a tag on time during Verbal as u progress?

Quants - Following the strategy of 3 quarters of 25 min and 12-12-13 Qs in those 3 quarters is fine. Verbal - I have not been successful in having any well defined strategy for Verbal. I tried to divide it in 3 quarters of 25 min and 13-14-14 Qs, but it all depends on the SC Qs which take lesser tim...

How do I identify the Qs that I can do and that I can't do?

Some pointers that I use to assess a Q are: 1 Is the Q stem clear? 2 Which concept is tested and what is your skill level in that area? 3 Are you aware of the steps involved to solve the Q? 4 Should I go half way in solving the Q and then decide? 5 At what point should I guess and move on? It easier...

It's good that you can breeze through the 1st 75 Qs of OG 11. Keep on doing them, afterall they appeared at one point or another in the actual test.
I have been following MGMAT and there books are good. I don't know about the other two but yes, I've purchased the ARCO Essay book to better on my AWA.

Hi I just thought of replying to my own post where I mentioned my strategy about revising PR+MGMAT all 8 books + OG11 - I solved 90% of all the problems in these books again. I think it has really helped. I would not shy away from recommending this strategy to anybody. I took a MGMAT CAT recently, t...

Hi I just got the email from MGMAT tech support and here it goes, "We mean that there is a possibility that an answer wasn’t recorded, questions may be given out of order, or a whole section of the exam gets closed out. This should not have affected your score since all answers were recorded.&q...

A fault anybody would notice here in your strategy is the non-inclusion of OG11, and OG V, and Q supplementary guides in your course prep. IF you did actually study them, then answer two questions to yourself: 1. Do you know your strength/weaknesses and how to leverage them? 2. Were you able to mana...

Hi
I tried Barrons, though not much, but I won't recommend it to anybody. There are better and more acclaimed books available in the market than those of Baron's: OG11, OG supplementary guides, MGMAT and Kaplan.

Try them!
