GMATGuruNY, I think i got it now. for equal political ***** and for changes**** are acting as adverbs modifying argued. Hence in phrase for equal political and legal rights for women , for women is modifying equal political and legal rights , not argued . correct me if am wrong. Thanks

=> side S = 6
Radius of the circle R = S/sqrt(s) = 2* sqrt(3)
Area of the circle = pi*4**3 = 12pi

let x,y,z be lengths of the rope and x<y<z.

1. Not sufficient.
y+z = 12
we dont the total rope length to find x.
2. Not sufficient.
x+y = 11
we dont know y to find x.
Together z-x = 1=> x= z-1. we still dont know z to find x.

Outer perimeter = 36 => outer square side = 9
inner square is layed out in such a way it leaves 1 inch width on all its sides
inner square side = 9 - 1-1 = 7
permiter of inner square = 4*7 =28
Answer is C.
