Hi Amy, My VP decided to fully sponsor me for an EMBA program. I am going to apply to Wharton, Haas-Columbia and UCLA. Can you please let me know what my chances are? I'm also receiving a promotion to be a manager before my application. I have also been nominated to serve on the UCLA Riordan Board o...

Hey Eric, Yeah I'm still thinking about it. I think if I can get myself into the low to mid 700s I will have a better chance getting into the schools I'm applying for. Hope to bring some good news to the BTG forum soon! Nice work on the essays--are you still planning to retake? 680 is a great score....

Hi Amy, Thanks for the quick response. I really appreciate your insights. My GPA is about average for my major since both of them are considered fairly challenging at UCLA. I was working full time while obtaining my Master's so I think I can explain that GPA as well. With my background my career goa...

Got a 5.5 on the essays. Thanks to the BTG essay samples! I would suggest others to read at least 10 essays from each section to get an idea how to structure each essay. Hey guest, I think I probably spent about 3 months total to prepare for the test, including a 9 week MGMAT course. I think the sel...

Hey guest, I think I probably spent about 3 months total to prepare for the test, including a 9 week MGMAT course. I think the self-study helped me more in my opinion, but the course did help me pick up a few things. Didn't really do much last week. I just did two practice MGMAT exams (700 and 690 b...

680 Q49 V34 (will retake)
Not sure how I turned the worse on the GMAT today. I did better on the quant section (I average 47 - 48) but did way worse in verbal. I rushed through the last part of quant and the last 10 questions in verbal, so I think that had a lot to do with my low score. Besides time management, I would appre...

Thanks ri2007. Jameschan168 A suggestion when u find it diff to relate to variables plug in values. Take the question in discussion - Statement 1 gives X>Y So X can be 6 and Y can be 3 or X can be -3 and Y can be -6 Statement 2 gives X/y >1 If you look at the statement alone again X can be 6 and Y c...

Stmt 2 - One can calculate values of all letters e.g
r = q+q = 2q
s = r+q = 2q+q = 3q.. so on and so forth. This way we can know what's the value of z
Ans should be B
