I am not sure if I should apply to 1Y or 2Y program at Kellogg. I am a 30 year old male working in Finance industry in US and would like to move to consulting. Would 1Y be a problem as I would not have an internship? Should I stick to the safer option 2Y? Is 1Y easier to get into compared to 2Y? 1Y program has a lower opportunity cost but some risks too. Any inputs from this forum would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Well the advantages of the 1year program are as you mentioned, opportunity costs. And it's for a bit older candidates. The two year has the advantage of time, and patience, and is better for changing industries.
And you gotta think what's best for you are your goals.
