Out of touch with academics, how to start the prep ?

Hi, I have 8yr experience in the IT industry and want to start preparing for GMAT May,2014. The biggest hurdle I'm facing is where to start and how to start. Which books, which website for mock exams etc.? Basis whatever I've read so far to update myself, would it be sufficient if I dedicate 2-3 hrs daily and 5-6 hrs on the weekends.

Expert suggestions wanted.

Hello, Rattan.ds. It is great to hear you are thinking ahead to the GMAT exam. It sounds as if you have a lot of great experience and are ready for business school. Although there is no one study strategy that can guarantee you a specific score, we have done some surveys of GMAT test-takers and have found some common study habits.
