Dear Aspirant.

Yes, it is possible to do a BTech with a diploma without the science stream in 12th but your diploma degree should be in the engineering stream.

Being an alumnus of LPU let me take an example of eligibility for the BTech(Lateral) at LPU after a diploma degree, you should have passed with 60% marks in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) 3 years after 10th Or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) Or BSc(Non-Medical) Or BSc(Computer Science) Or BCA or equivalent. Moreover, you need to qualify for the LPUNEST exam conducted by LPU.

LPU offers BTech(Lateral) in CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself.

In LPU, more than 550+ national and multinational companies visit for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA.

Scholarships/Financial Assistance: You can get scholarships based on LPUNEST, JEE (Main), Toppers of Education Board., Financial Aid - Need-Based, Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their dependents., Financial Aid to Orphans, Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disabilities.

Dear aspirant if you have done a diploma in the science stream, then it is possible that you can do B Tech through lateral entry. LPU offers lateral entry B Tech programs.
