Hi,

I have been looking at a couple class profiles for my target schools and they generally have a work experience of at least 5 years. My question is, what are they counting as work experience? Is it full time "adult job" employment only?

The reason I ask:
1) While an undergrad, I had two internships for a combined time of one year
2) Right after graduating, I went on a volunteer experience abroad of 6 weeks.
3) After that, I have been fully employed at the same company for 3 years. (Will be 4+ by the time I enter school).

Are these class profiles only counting post-UG full time employment?

Yes, these class profiles typically count full time employment post undergrad. You'll be entering with 4+ years of full time employment which is plenty. I'm not sure what schools you are targeting but most students at top MBA programs seem to average 3-5 years of experience which you'll have at that point.

I also included one 6 months full time internship in my work-exp and the schools I applied to didn't complain...
