I recently took the GMAT and scored 630.
I am a Caucasian Canadian citizen who is looking to stay in Canada for my MBA.
The schools I am looking to apply to (in order of preference):
- Ryerson MBA MTI - Full Time
- Laurier MBA - Full Time
- McMaster MBA - Full Time
- Brock MBA - Full Time
For undergrad I attended the University of Ottawa and majored in Political Science. During my time at school I played on a varsity athletics team and worked two jobs during my last two years due to funding constraints. All of my extra circulars no doubt took a toll on my CGPA, as my courses were not always on the top of my priority list. I ended my academic "career" at uOttawa with a CGPA of 2.6.
As for my work experience, during school I was a manager at a local bar (large capacity) and a property manager. In the two years after graduation I have worked at one of the major banks in Canada.
A 630 GMAT is better than the average at all of the above schools, but my undergrad CGPA is a worry. Looking for a little advice on next steps!
