I am freshly out of college (graduated in May 2012) and am working with Oracle. It has been only 2 months since I joined the company. I was planning to give my GMAT after an experience of 2 years, so wanted to know when would be the best time to give the exam. Also, does a 1 year experience hold any value?
When is the best time to apply

Your GMAT scores will be valid for 5 years, so take the test when you're well prepared. If you can get the testing out of the way early, that would be advisable. I'd recommend looking to apply after you have 2-3 years of work experience. One year of experience won't do much.
