IMO E coz it clearly uses singular verb for "accepting parental discipline".

Hi Armaan,

Till now I have understanding that "which" when used as pronoun without comma is always wrong in GMAT....since it is a non restrictive pronoun....

Although E looks to be the best...but here I think "that" should have been used instead of which...

Can you please tell from where u picked this question...

Thanks
Mohit

"accepting parental discipline" is singular and hence should be followed by "constitutes"

I agree with the posters above. It seems like this SC is testing two things. SV and relative pronoun usage.

"accepting parental discipline" is singular so requires singular verb tense.

The difference between the pronouns is that "that" is used to introduce essential information and "which" is used to add nonessential information. Since the sentence uses the word "consider" after the relative pronoun, information is conveyed as opinion - so nonessential. IMO "which" is the proper usage

Ans - E
