plz help
OA is c
but why B is wrong
isnt c wordy due to Have been .[/b]

this sentence has three parts as underlined below:

A huge flying reptile that died out with the dinosaurs some 65 million years ago, the Quetzalcoatlus had a wingspan of 36 feet, believed to be the largest flying creature the world has ever seen.

The third part is continuous with the first part. But if you use option (B), it conveys that third part is talking more about the wingspan.
