OA E

C is wrong because it conveys that the madagascar periwinkle derivative itself is cultivated. Madagascar periwinkle is cultivated, not its derivative

Answer is E. Note that subject in all other options is derivative of the plant...derivatives cannot be cultivated. Plants are cultivated and derivates are "Derived" from them.

between C and E vote for E. as above posters say derivative can`t be cultivated, but it is periwinkle

IMO C is the answer. In choice E, the which pronoun is modifying Periwinkle and not the derivative, which is the subject
