Eliminate A,C and E as we have "comes" singular which cannot agree with transgressions.
b/w B and D, transgressions (the violation of a law or a duty or moral principle) cannot be counted so usage of "MUCH" holds good. Also, B is more direct.

Transgressions, just like crimes, can be counted in specific contexts (you are convicted of 5 crimes) and hence many is should be more appropriate. But I do agree we do not have an answer choice which has the right verb and many combination.

Can we please have a prep company expert comment on this?

B seems to be 'best' fit among the answer choices available. However, I am also not comfortable with the 'much' at the beginning. Transgressions is countable and therefore 'many' is the better option.

OA and explanation pls
