Hi,
Can anyone please help me understand the inline mentioned doubts?

Usage of:

so X that Y
so X as to Y

Also, I am kinda confused when to use:

double
twice

more
greater

Anticipating your clarification.

Best,
Aakash.

Structures with "very" cannot be followed directly by that-clauses. Instead, we can use so...that...
e.g. It was so cold that we stopped playing.
He spoke so fast that nobody could understand.

There is also a structure with "so" followed by adjective + as to + infinitive
e.g. Would you be so kind as to tell me the time? = kind enough to....

Thanks Kasia. Appreciate your reply.
Also, i have gone through many threads on this forum and elsewhere, but couldn't really get a hang of the correct usage form when it comes to:

double
twice

more
greater

Can you please help me give a quick answer.
That would be really helpful.

Best,
Aakash.
