Understand the meaning of the question. Option A is changing the intended meaning and also the modifier is placed incorrectly.

The true meaning of the sentence is that 'Agatha Christie's travels inspired her to write novel'

Option B incorrectly says that Agatha Christie inspired several mystery novels. Change of meaning!

Option C is non-sensical

Option D incorrectly says that both Agatha Christie and her husband were inspired.

Option E maintains the intended meaning and is also worded properly.
