What is the correct answer?

According to the Better Business Bureau, if you fail to advertise the highest price in a range of prices for a service or product as prominently as that of the lowest, it vioaltes the New York Customer Protection Law.

(A) if you fail to advertise the highest price in a range of prices for a service or product as prominently as that of the lowest, it
(B) if one fails to advertise the highest price in a range of prices for a service or product as prominently as the lowest price, it
(C) failure to advertise the highest price in a range of prices for a service or product as prominently as the lowest
(D) failure to advertise as prominently the highest price in a range of prices for a service or product as the lowest
(E) failing to advertise as prominently the highest price in a range of prices for a service or products as that of the lowest

for the "it" after the comma you need to defin an action therefore failure is incorrect

B C D are out..

in A that is not needed..

My vote for B...

Since "it" is mentioned in (A), I'm guessing it is part of underlined
sentence.

A & B have incorrect pronoun problem with "it"

D & E change the meaning by emphasizing on prominently as
opposed to the highest price

I'll go with C

The point of emphasis is "Failure to advertise highest price". In my opinion C and D equally emphasize this. Why not D?

Should this be A???

Reasons - the pronoun it best goes with Statement A. Also I dont find any errors with comparision - as prominetly as...

According to Spidey's notes 'it' should always be preceeded by a noun not a sentence in this case... so it cannot be A/B, has to be C
