was over were. (If i just reverse--anger was among the emotions ......)

correction if needed pls!

B seems parallel and better worded then all the other choices. But I wasn't so sure about the use of "was" or "were" but the reverse usage suggested by "aj5105" makes sense.

I am confused b/w B and D. but B seems to be better choice. D is too wordy.
Philosophers have interpreted world in various ways, the point is to change it!
