POSTED THIS QUESTION FOR CERTAIN TAKEAWAYS , WRITING THOSE QUICK PEAKS AFTER THE QUESTION GIVING SOME GAP . THIS IS OG QUESTION .
Originally developed for detecting air pollutants, a technique called proton-induced X-ray emission, which can quickly analyze the chemical elements in almost any substance without destroying it, is finding uses in medicine, archeology, and criminology.
(A) Same
(B) Originally developed for detecting air pollutants, having the ability to analyze the chemical elements in almost any substance without destroying it, a technique called proton-induced X-ray emission,

(E) A techniuqe that was originally developed for detecting air pollutants and has the ability to analyze the chemical elements in almost any substance quickly and without destroying the substance, called proton-induced X-ray emission,
~SOME CONCEPTS~
OPENING MODIFIER :- Be on a lookout for opening modifier which will appear at the begining of the sentence separated from rest of sentence by comma.A noun modifier must be adjacent to noun it modifies..Its can be an adverbial modifier as well.
EX -1] During a course of rigorous training, John Learned that the army was not for him.
EX -2] Sweating profusely, John Learned that the army was not for him.
You can find out which sentence has which kind of modification.
Question and think about the logic -
If answer comes out to be just NOUN then expect that noun to follow the TOUCH rule , that is noun should touch the modifier .
---------------["Who was"/ "What was" etc.]
If answer has just a verb in it either alone or as a part of longer clause then modifier not neccesarily touch the verb.
----------------["What happened..." ]
There is more in my inventory , if get good response will post few more concepts
