I have my doubts about SC 1000 ...and I have seen some comments from the instructors warning against such unofficial SCs or for any other topics using such materials ........however, the much revered Sahil's notes use abundant examples from the infamous SC 1000 .....I am wondering if it will do any good or bad ? .....I have been practicing the ManhattanGmat SCs or Official Guide ....but now doing Sahils notes I am getting everything wrong ....so should i get dejected by this and work on SC 1000 ....or should i consider my practice enough to do well on GMAT ?

Well every one has his / her view on this topic and I can give you mine . But you can be a better judge your self by considering some facts .

(1) How many times have to come across a question from 1000sc that instructors have told is a tweaked OG or GMAT prep question ?

(2) Have you seen any post from a reliable source like MGMAT , Kaplan , Knewton , Grokit have ambiguous answers . I can bet you will have some difficulty finding them . In contrast how many times have you seen a 1000 sc question being a debatable one with no end result ?

(3) GMAT question are not easy to construct and test prep companies spend thousands of dollars just for constructing good GMAT question .

Use your own judgment . Though 1000sc question can serve as good practice source you can some time come across some question that are not exactly GMAT standard .

@neoraves

I would suggest that you go through the OG and Manhattan stuff once again. Many questions in SC1000 aren't based on GMAT concepts.
