He is twice as old as his son.
He is two times as old as his son.

Are both the sentences correct in GMAT ?
I am sure of the second sentence, but not sure if the first sentence is correct.

Could you let me know, please?

Second one is considered wordy hence first would be preferred.

The correct usage is "once", "twice", and "three times" (not thrice).

Although two times is used in informal usage, stick to "twice" in formal usage.
