or

Enter the ID of the organization to which you want to associate

Still working on my dreams best part is I have not achieved one yet !!!!!

Enter the ID of the organization that you want to associate

or

Enter the ID of the organization to which you want to associate

both are correct-- but have different meanings.
1st says- enter the ID of the organisation that you want to associate with.....
2nd - enter the ID of the org to which you want to associate... ( something)
or
enter the ID of the org to which you want to get associated with.

I think "Enter the ID of the organization that you want to associate " should be the right answer.

Ask yourself, Enter the ID of the organization,

Which organization?

"that you want to associate."

that is used as an essential modifier

Both "that" and "to which" are essential modifiers, so both of them are correct.

The idiom is normally "associate with", though, rather than "associate to."

Otherwise, you all seem to have a handle on how this can work -- very often, a verb will work differently depending on whether there is a preposition idiomatically attached to one of its meanings.
