Confused between B and E!


IMO E as they still continue to be unique.

IMO B

A--> Singular was ;
C--> has been is a wrong tense. It changes the meaning and also does not agree in numbers ;
D--> had been is passive tense and therefire wrong comparision between a passive voice and an active voice.
E--> wrong comapriosn, should include the subject to comapre clause.
