Most North Carolina ski resorts broadcast music onto the slopes; skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, and “beautiful music” slopes, there are no slopes without music.
(A) skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, and “beautiful music” slopes, there are
(B) because skiers can choose hard rock, soft pop, or “beautiful music,” there are
(C) however, skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, “beautiful music,” and
(D) although skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, and “beautiful music” slopes, there are
(E) skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, “beautiful music” slopes, but
why not [spoiler]E/B?[/spoiler]

IMO - D . OA ??

When the choice is between more than 2 we need to use "among" which is missing in B. Hence B is eliminated.
However is genly used when we want to express some change in tone or total shift of things. but C doesnt show it. Hence C is gone.
E and A dont look grammatically correct to me.

Because its seperated by semicolon hence a complete sentence should follow

D can't be correct as although introduces a subordinate clause...
IMO C is correct...It's between C and E

E says skiers can choose among hard rock, soft pop, “beautiful music” slopes, but ....

among x,Y and Z....and is missing here...

real2008, why don't you post the OA??
What's the use of scratching the head if one doesn't know the correct answer???
