Hey everyone,
I started studying for the GMAT 3 weeks ago. I took the GMATPrep I test to see where I was and scored an awful 470. I bought the MGMAT books and started with MGMAT's Foundations of Math book. After studying MGMAT FOM for one week, I took the second GMATPrep exam and scored a 530 (30Q 33V). I decided to study MGMAT Number Properties the following week, doing all of the corresponding OG questions. I decided to do three days of sentence correction study and OG questions prior to taking my first MGMAT CAT. I scored a 630 (43Q 33V), giving me a 160 point increase in just over 3 weeks.
I noticed I am struggling on reading comp and critical reasoning questions. Do you guys think I should spend one week on each RC and CR and take a MGMAT CAT at the conclusion of each week?
I have to submit applications by March 1 at a number of schools and late March at a few others. This gives me 2 months of study. Do you think I should aim to sit for the GMAT in late January, leaving me room to re-take the exam if disaster strikes? Do you think it is possible for me to score 700+ with this much time available to study? I would also add that I am not working and am a recent undergrad graduate. I have as many hours as I can stomach each day, I just don't want to burn out! I should note that I am a native English speaker, I just haven't study much of the verbal yet because I thought it would just be natural!
Thank you for all the help in advance.[/quote]
