The correct use of pronoun referenceï¼Œverb tenseï¼Œand modifier make the sentence clear and easy to understand.
I think it should be makes and not make since the subject of the sentence is use.
I saw this sentence in the verbal OG.

no,I just saw this sentence somewhere and thought that it is wrong.
