As the Journalist left to interview the convicted murderer, she was advised of the man´s short temper, told she should not anger him, and was given a tape recorder.

A) of the man´s short temper, told she should not anger him, and was

B) of the man´s short temper, told she should not anger him, and

C) of the man´s short temper and that she should not anger him and

D) that the man had a short temper, should not anger him, and was

E) that the man had a short temper, that she should not anger him, and was

I am choosing B for this one but am not sure of the answer to this one. Any thoughts?

I too think its B. "was" is the common factor.

She (was) advised of, she (was) told, and she (was) given.

I am not convinced that E is the answer because it makes advised is common for the first two elements, in which case
an "and" is required.

Again I may be wrong.

E- for me is wrong becuse of the double usage of "That"

but i feel the sentence should go like-She was advised that..
This makes sense to go with E.
I am confused.
