Add together all of the numbers of scores. They total to 73. Divide this number by two, since the median will be the middle number. The avg is 36.5, so the median would be the 37th number. Where would the 37th number reside? between 80 and 89. Choose C

Median is the middle value if we arrange all the scores in ascending or descending order
In this case it is the 34th Value ((73+1)/2)

Let us start from top 50-59 contains 2, 60-69 contains 3-12th 70-79 contains 13-28th 80-89 contains 29th-55th 90-99 contains 56th to 73rd

34th value is contained by 80-89; hence the median is contained by 80-89

I agree with your answer, but there's a small arithmetic error; the median will be the 37th highest score, not the 34th.

what level question would you guys say this is? I seem to do well with these, so I'm thinking they're in the 500's. Now I know there are ways to make it harder... but this one in particular?
