P(x,y) = 2(|x| + |y|) + \/2(|x-y| + |x+y|)

P(x,y) when plotted on co-ordinate plane x, y will have a polygon with how many sides?

4
6
8
10
20

Here \/ means square root i.e. (2)^1/2

How exactly do you plot P(x,y)? It is a function of two variables. How can you plot one number in xy-plane?
