Hi,

Finally I have decided to write a post on my score. I am running late by around 18-20 days as I thought of my score to be just okay. But after talking to a lot of fellow students and people, I found that it was not so okay.

So here is my story:

I started my preparations by giving the diagnostic test provided with OG12. It was seriously disgusting to see myself standing at average level even in mathematics. I knew that Mathematics will be a cakewalk after practising for a day or two. So I decided to devote most of my time to Verbal. 75% of my time spent on verbal was spent on SC and I believe I did right in doing so.

Material Referred:

1. OG12
2. OG11
3. Kaplan Advanced
4. Princeton Review
5. Verbal Review 2nd Edition
6. Manhattan GMAT tests
7. 800 Score Tests

My scores on various mock tests:

Princeton Review:
1. 610 2. 620 3. 680 4. 610 5. 640

Kaplan:
1. 680 2. 690 3. 710

800Score:

1. 710 2. 720 3. 750 4. 740 5. 780

Manhattan GMAT:
1. 710 2. 710 3. 710 4. 730 5. 720

GMAT Prep:
1. 730 2. 740 3. 750 4. 740

You can send a personal message to me for various soft copies which I have.

Thanks,
Himanshu Joshi

Congratulations on the 720! You are right - that score is well above "just ok."

In terms of your practice tests, where in your preparation did you take your first GMATPrep test?

Thanks for the wishes...

I took the first GMAT Prep after completing 3 tests each of Kaplan, Princeton and 800 score.com.

800score.com tests gave me the confidence to go for the GMAT Prep tests.

Hi,

Where can I get the Kaplan tests. Do I need to buy the book for these tests?

Thanks

You can get a free Kaplan test just by signing up. Follow this link: https://www.kaptest.com/GMAT/Learn-and-D ... -test.html

However, if you want more, I believe the only way is to pay the $599 for six tests.

Hi.. Himnashu

Firtsly, Let me congratulate you on your stellar GMAT score 720. I am also preparing for GMAT but couldnt able to decide
when to take final exam. I have been preparing for exam for last 4-5 months off-on with jobs related pressures
,tensions & half hearted attempts. Now, I have decided to give final power packed punch of 2 months to GMAT i.e.
planning to tkae in mid jun 10. I have also taken tests in last 3-4 weeks. Princeton- 580, Cambridge - 580, Peterson -620

I wanna cross hurdle of 700 in GMAT. IS 2 MONTHS PREPRATION WITH DAILY INPUTS OF 8-10 hrs sufficient to sucessfully
cross 700 mark in GMAT.

Do also mail me soft copies of whatever study material you have at [email protected]

Thanxs & looking for you feedback

Hi,

Which are the best books for practicing math questions? I have heard from a few that OG 12 math is relatively easy compared to the actual GMAT math.
