Hi all,

I have the Kaplan and Princeton GMAT books with CDs that I brought two years ago.

I am going to sit the gmat in 2 months. Is it worth buying the newer editions of these books. The most important question from my side is are the full lenght tests on the cd with the newer edition going to be any different.

thanks

While it's always best to study the latest materials, you should be fine with the books you purchased two years ago. The test hasn't changed much in terms of content and being computer adaptive. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't buy the new books.

Best of luck!

Yep - you can always ask the companies, too (though obviously take answers with a grain of salt, b/c selling new books is good for our bottom line!).

For example, for MGMAT books, 6 of our 2005 edition books are substantially the same as the 2007 edition, but 2 are very different (critical reasoning and reading comp). The 2007 editions also give you access to more online resources, such as adaptive tests (which you don't get from the 2005 editions).
Please note: I do not use the Private Messaging system! I will not see any PMs that you send to me!!
