Stock X increased from $40 per share to $41 and Y increased from $25 to $28.5. The increased percentage of price of Y is what percent of the increased percentage of the price of X?
Guys, please type in the value that u get as it think i am getting the wrong answer.. sorry no answer choices here.. :)

I am getting 560% increase ... !!!!!!! :shock: May be because options are not available .. !

Anyways whats the answer .. ??

((3.5)/25) / (1/40) = 56/10

i too got 560%, but the actual answer given is 11.5%
and now i am 99.99% sure that the OA is wrong..:) but still any reasons for OA?

it look as if OA is expecting a difference between 14 (% increase in Y) and 2.5%(%increase in X)

It should be either way around.
