Thanks for answering, but that's not what I asked. I know that, I am trying to understand if the QR questions get harder than the OG questions, or if it's psychological.

It's also not so much that I can't do them at this stage (just done 151), just that it takes a little longer than I like.

Having said that, a 47 in the practice test must be some source of comfort for me. I guess I just have to plod on and learn how to solve the ones I was clueless about.

Update, now I've finished the section. 140/176 => 79.6% correct - I can't be too unhappy with that. Now to go through my mistakes and try to learn from them, then 124 DS to cover.

I do seem to get them wrong in clumps. Interesting whether that is a coincidence or meaningful.

I'd say the quant review is about the same difficulty as the big (phonebook sized) OG, be it 12th or 13th edition.

Also know that there's a pretty large margin of error for a Q47 on the real test - I'd imagine you could miss anywhere from 12-16 questions and get that score, depending on which questions you miss. (Just don't miss too many in a row, basically. )

79.6% correct in practice is great, of course, but if you get the first two questions right on quant you're unlikely to see anything as easy as the first 40%-50% of the questions in the quant review or the OG, so those stats aren't terribly meaningful. The GMAT isn't like most standardized tests (or final exams): it isn't how many you get right, it's WHICH questions you get right. I've seen students get Q46-48 on the GMATPrep despite correctly answering only about 60% of the questions.
