A wire is cut into 3 equal parts. The resulting segments are then cut into 4,6 and 8 equal parts respectively. If each of the resulting segments has an inner length, what is the minimum length of the wire?

The key here is to calculate LCM.

The wire is cut into 3 EQUAL parts. Now, each wire is cut into 4,6,8 EQUAL parts. The keyword is here "Equal".

First, calculate LCM of 4,6,8. It's 24. So a single part of wire must have atleast 24.

Now, we have 3 EQUAL parts. So, it's 24 * 3 = 72
