Hey guys,
i just started my 3 month GMAT preparation but not sure if my Diagnostic results (DAY 1 - Saturday 14th July 2012) are very mediocre or "OK for now" Types. :(
My aim is 700 + and from DAY 2 onwards, i'll be chalking out a proper plan in order to give myself a real shot at this.
I used one of my free GMATPrep practice exams to gauge my initial level and Here are my result details -

Scaled Score Percentile
IR 3 *
Q 42 59
V 22 27
Total 530 40

My real problem is Verbal as i myself feel that i did a lot of guess work in SC & RC.
Anyways, My one question to the expert community - Should I keep giving Mock GMAT exams every weekend or should i wait until all my Quant & Verbal training is complete. Please advise. Thanks!

Given that you've just begun your preparation, 530 is a good baseline score. About 50% of all official test-takers score less than 530, so you're doing well.

Now that you have a baseline score, I suggest that you hold off on the full-length practice tests until you've covered the math and verbal content. Once you've done that, you can work on your test-taking strategies and begin strengthening any weak areas that you've identified.

Cheers,
Brent

I think it's helpful to take your second practice test when you are about halfway through the content, rather than waiting until you've reviewed everything. For me, it was just a nice psychological boost to see my score increase and to get proof that the hours I've spent studying are actually paying off.
