GMAT test prep software update frequency

I am referring to the "official" GMAT practice test from MBA.com.

Does anyone know who often the software is distributed with updated tests?

I downloaded the software about a year ago and was wondering if I would get different tests if I downloaded it again now?

I suppose I could just try it but I don't want to overwrite my old version with the new because I saved my result logs, etc.

I wrote GMATPrep 2 today and got this question wrong, so I googled and ended up on BTG
The thread that discussed the question was 2 years old. So, I don't think GMATPrep gets updated frequently

To my knowledge their are two versions of GMATPrep- a 2005 version and a 2006 version. I'm not sure how different these two tests are, but I'm fairly certain that if you re-downloaded the GMATPrep today you would get the exam same software. On another note, you can take each of the GMATPrep tests twice without getting very much overlap (so you can take four adaptive tests)

While I was compiling the solutions to all GMATPrep questions, this question kept coming up. My clients kept asking whether GMATPrep gets updated often. So I asked an MBA.com rep and I was told (about 3 months ago) that the last batch of new questions were included sometime in 2006.
