Hi,

I have two questions

1) I am very confused. I got 630 on the gmat exams available in mba.com (official website for GMAT exam) 4 weeks ago.
Since then I have been studying GMAT theory and also practice questions using 800score course. In the last week I have done few tests from 800score and GMATscore websites, where I have got 520 !!!! How is it possible to drop over 100 points when I have a much better understanding of the GMAT?

2) I usually get a good score in the MAth section (around 40+) but very poor in the verbal section (~25). Can you advice on how to significantly increase the score in the verbal section?

You probably don't have a consistent approach to how you approach verbal. You probably have a set routine you use when you see a math problem, you write down and define variables, you set up equations and then you solve. You need to have a routine for answering verbal questions as well. Develop your routine. Once you get this down, your scores will begin to stabilize and then improve. Good luck.

The ultimate advice: read.

I've said it before and will do so again: WSJ (online), The Economist, Financial Times, novels (!)

Apart from that, use the LSAT Powerscore bible for CR and MGMAT SC, that will do wonders.
