What is the value of x?

(1) x^3 = 6x − x^2

(2) 14x = x^3 + 5x^2

The OA is the option E.

With each statement, we can get that x=0. Is it sufficient? Experts, can you help me? Please.

Statement 1: Get the x terms on one side: x^3 + x^2 - 6x = 0

x(x^2 + x - 6) =0
x(x+3)(x-2) = 0
x = 0 or x = -3 or x = 2. Not Sufficient.

Statement 2: x^3 + 5x^2 - 14x = 0
x(x^2 +5x - 14) = 0
x(x + 7)(x - 2) = 0
x = 0 or x = -7 or x = 2. Not Sufficient.

Together: x = 0 and x = 2 are possible solutions in each statement. Because there is more than one possible value for x, the statements together are also not sufficient. The answer is E
