Just wrote the GMAT yesterday, got a score of 660. Although I was aiming for 700, the program I am applying to requires only 570, so I should be fine.

The first GMATPrep test I gave before any studying, I got 570, so I knew I had to work a lot harder. I studied mainly from the OG (3 books) and the Kaplan 800.

I took the Princeton Test and got 680, on my second GMATPrep I got 700 - but its a bit different when you actually go in.

Regardless, I'm pretty happy and thought I'd share.

I personally think the math section was slightly harder - but I'm sure many will disagree.

To be honest, I think the environment you are in is a big factor. At home I would take the test, but be much more comfortable. When I got to the testing center, there is a slight bit of nervousness and as such my timing messed up quite a bit. At home, I would get the Verbal section done and still have 10-15 minutes left, if not more. In the actual test, I finished barely on time - I just ended up double checking all my answers and spending way too much time.

If you can maintain the same mindset that you have at home, you have won half the battle.

I have thought about getting the Princeton Test questions but I did not. Do you have any advice about the value of these? Based upon your experience, it seemed very accurate.
