Hello guys/girls,

I am Raghu, working near Cologne/Köln, Germany(>4years),having 14years of exp. as mechanical design engineer and now planning for a Part-Time MBA (only weekend study). I found couple of schools offering PTMBA in Germany, WHU-Otto Beisheim (weekend) , HHL (module), Mannheim Business school (weekend/module).

I will be glad if any one can help me in evaluating my profile and suggesting the best b-schools in Europe for PTMBA. I would like to start this year.

Thank you in advance!

Best Regards,
Raghu.

Hi Raghu,

It is a right move to do MBA at this point of your career but you can also look for full time MBA programs to get good exposure and network well. You can also target top B-schools in Europe like HEC Paris, IMD, St.Gallen, IESE, IE, LBS, Oxford, Warwick. Also share more details about your career goals which will help to evaluate right set of schools for you.

Manish

Hello Manish,

Thank you very much for your reply.
Full Time MBA is a good option, but financially I cannot afford to do it.For Part-Time MBA I can get the bank loan showing my monthly salary as proof of income in Germany. Düsseldorf (where WHU weekend classes are held) and Mannheim are both near to me and need equal travel time.

I am more into technical now and doing technical project coordination with brazil and usa projects, I would like take up higher career positions in engineering/sales/supply chain or may be career path into consulting and for this I need an MBA ofcourse for more salary also.

Best Regards,
Raghu.

Hi,

Thank you for the details. You can also explore the list of schools in my previous reply and ideally you should look at multiple options to increase your chances.
