New material for practice?

by reply2spg » Wed Sep 22, 2010 10:31 am
Hi,

I need your advice regarding new GMAT tests or new gmat material. I have completed set of all mgmat tests, Princenton review, Gmat prep. I am currently doing Kaplan tests and only one or two are remaining.

Yesterday, I gave platinum gmat test. My actual gmat is on 23rd Oct. I want to do more and more practice in verbal. However, whatever SC, CR questions are on forum are repeated questions.

Can you suggest me any new material for practice?

Thanks in advance

I think that quality of practice is much more important than quantity.

Check out the following article by Stacey.

You have 3 master resources -
1) OG 12
2) OG Verbal Review
3) OG 10

Have you analyzed each and every question of the aforementioned resources to such an extent that you understand every concept used (for correct as well as incorrect answers)?

Have you analyzed why you committed mistakes in each question you attempted?

Have you developed a familiarity with questions such that you can intuitively know what are the inconsistencies in answer choices without actively looking to impose exotic grammar rules?

Go for the following:

1. For RC and CR----LSAT sets.
2. For SC----1000 SC. Though there are few wrong answers, those are good for practice.

Thanks.
