Take {a = 8, b = 4, x = -0.5}, {a = 8, b = -4, x = 0.5}
x can be positive or negative

2 - insufficient
Take {a = 8, b = 4, x = -0.5}, {a = 8, b = -4, x = 0.5}

Together, same story.
